Mark's successful and varied music career has included singing in popular Sydney bands which appeared with other well known bands such as Little River Band (with John Farnham), John Paul Young and The All-stars Band, and even the Bay City Rollers when they came back to Australia for their 10 year reunion tour. Some years later when Mark was back in his home town of Perth, he was approached to play the lead role of Rum Tum Tugger in the musical Cats with which he toured Australian and New Zealand. He then went on to perform in Les Miserables as Combeferre and understudied Javert (with Marina Prior, Rob Guest and Anthony Warlow) and the Buddy Holly Story as an ensemble cast member and understudied the Big Bopper, again touring Australia and New Zealand. Mark also featured on Rob Guests "Standing Ovation" CD and performed in a theatre restaurant in Melbourne as the singer/MC in a "Las Vegas style" production.


Currently, Mark performs at many corporate, private and wedding functions in most of the major hotel, resort and function venues around Perth including, the Burswood Resort Casino, The Vines resort, The Hyatt, Parmelia Hilton, Sandalford Winery and performed regularly as the MC and entertainer on the floating restaurant the Crystal Swan. Other distinguished venues include Windows at the Burswood resort, Frasers restaurant in Kings Park, Friends at the Hyatt hotel and the Boardwalk restaurant in Fremantle.




Mark also pursues an acting career having appeared as a guest actor in numerous W.A. produced TV series including The Gift, Sweat (with Heath Ledger), Ship to Shore, Bush Patrol, Minty and an ABC documentary on Perth's award winning writer Tim Winton. His many TV commercials (Chicken treat, the Swan brewery, Retravision, Burswood Resort, iinet etc…) also include the recent Lotto ad where he and his "TV family" are camping with all the luxuries including a helicopter and he says "I love camping". Some of his other guesting credits include a television film called Southern Cross and several feature films including "A Japanese Story" with Toni Collette and more recently "Thunderstruck" produced by Mel Gibson's Icon Pictures and the TV mini series Shark Net with William McGuiness.
Marks extensive and vast experience in the entertainment industry has helped to create the versatile, reliable and professional performer he is today.
